Accidental Book Tour

Just returned from a 3.5-week roadtrip that took on the almost-shading of a book tour.
In Indianapolis my family was treated to dinner by fellow teacher Andrea (page 116), her Chinese husband Leo, and their three beautiful daughters.  In Colorado Springs we ate lunch with Nicole (also page 116), another fellow teacher who now trains counselors in India.  In St. Louis I was introduced to reader Nathan, who’d just returned from a two-week trip to the Beijing area – and discovered that he knows my fellow teacher Jason (page 9).  And I was asked to sign books for the Gibsons in St. Louis and the Veecks in Louisville.
The purpose of this roadtrip was to give our boys an adventure in the Rockies.  So many conversations with so many wonderful people was a delightful bonus!

"Your book is wonderful.  You capture the eternal in the ephemeral, the larger picture in the small incident."
